Captain Jeff Lewis Receives Certificate

Baxter County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Captain Jeff Lewis was presented a Certificate of Appreciation from the Arkansas Gravestones Project for the work that he has done on our local cemeteries. For the last several years Captain Lewis has worked diligently on locating and cleaning up sites that have been neglected over the years.

Polar Bear Plunge at Norfork Lake

Sheriff's Deputies are part of the 41 participants that braved the cold water at Lake Norfork this year during the "Polar Bear Plunge".  This year's participants helped raise approximately $5500.00 dollars to help with Special Olympics.
