The Sheriff's Office patrol boats and other watercraft are utilized by both the Dive Team and the Underwater Search Camera Team throughout the year for search, rescue, and recovery missions. They are also used to patrol the lakes and waterways during the busy summer tourist season, particularly on holiday weekends when use of area outdoor recreational facilities is maximized.

The Sheriff's Office works closely with the United States Army Corp of Engineers Park Rangers and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Wildlife Officers in water-related activities and events.

Our Dive Team is one of the best in the state. Pictured below is the trophy honoring the team as the 2005 State Dive Team Champions.
