TWO ARRESTS MADE FOLLOWING FIGHT CALL EARLY MONDAY MORNING
Hayley Lynn Davis |
Two people were arrested early Monday morning, July 14th, after deputies responded to a disturbance call on Norfork River Road.
At approximately 2:56 AM, deputies were dispatched to a fight in progress call at that location. Upon arrival at approximately 3:08 AM, they made contact with a man and a woman. They reported that HAYLEY LYNN DAVIS came to the residence. She is the male's ex-wife. She was said to be upset because the female was staying at the residence. It was reported that HAYLEY DAVIS got out of her vehicle with a tire iron and began swinging it at the male. The male victim retreated into the house and locked the door. The other female was already inside. HAYLEY DAVIS then kicked in the front door and came inside. The other female who had been staying at the residence had locked herself in a bathroom in the back of the house. HAYLEY DAVIS forced her way into the bathroom and began punching the female victim in the head and pulling her hair. Another male at the residence, identified as ANDREW ROBERT HARKREADER, came into the house and restrained the male victim to keep him from aiding the female being attacked.
Eventually DAVIS and HARKREADER went back outside the house. The victims believed they heard a gunshot outside. When deputies arrived, they checked the immediate area for DAVIS and HARKREADER, but did not locate them at the time. The canine tracking team from the Arkansas Division of Corrections - North Central Unit was called to the scene to assist in locating the suspects. HARKREADER was found not far away from the house at approximately 5:50 AM and taken into custody.
Deputies later were told that DAVIS had been picked up by a motorist and taken to a residence on Winterberry Drive in Salesville. Her general location was confirmed by "pinging" her cell phone. Deputies responded to the area, found HAYLEY DAVIS near Boggs Drive, and took her into custody at approximately 8:46 AM. She had changed clothing from what she had been wearing at the incident scene, but her original clothing was found and taken into evidence. No firearm was found.
Both suspects were taken to the Baxter County Detention Center and booked as follows:
