REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER MOVES TO NEW ADDRESS

     The Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a registered sex offender (Level 2 - Moderate risk to re-offend) has moved and changed addresses:

NEW ADDRESS:      99 Broadview Circle Lot #10
                                    Salesville, Arkansas 72653

 

     The offender was convicted in Kane County, Illinois on 12/05/1994 of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse and was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment.  The offender was convicted in Georgetown, Texas on 08/16/1999 for Failure to Register.  The offender was then convicted in Burnet County, Texas on 05/30/2003 for Sexual Assault of a Child and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment.  He was again arrested in Kane County, Illinois on 10/30/2009 for Failure to Register.  There is no disposition shown on that charge.  Available documentation does not provide any further details of these charges. 

 

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notification.
