The Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a new sex offender has registered with the Sheriff's Office after moving into this jurisdiction from Michigan.

NAME:                       RODNEY BRABON

DATE OF BIRTH:   03/04/1967

HOME ADDRESS:   89 Gamble Ln.

                                    Henderson, Arkansas 72544

     The offender was convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree in Ottawa County, Michigan on 02/24/2003.  He was sentenced to serve a period of confinement of from 4 to 15 years.  Available documentation does not provide any additional details of this offense.  The offender was also convicted of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender on 01/19/2016 in Michigan and put on supervised release for a period of from 3 to 5 years.

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notification.
