SEX OFFENDER MOVES FROM MOUNTAIN HOME INTO RURAL BAXTER COUNTY

     The Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a sex offender previously living inside Mountain Home City Limits and previously registered with the Mountain Home Police Department has now moved to an address in rural Baxter County.  This offender has previously been assigned a community risk assessment level as a Level 4 Offender (Sexually Dangerous Person).

 

NAME:                       RONALD HOBBS

 

DATE OF BIRTH:   10/09/1952

 

HOME ADDRESS:   68 Boxwood Lane

                                    Henderson, Arkansas 72544

 

     Available documentation indicates that this offender was convicted in the State of California in March, 2004 of the offense of use/possession of obscene materials involving underage minors.  The offender was secretly recording nude minors in a school locker room.  No other specific details are currently available.

 

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notification.
