A Jordan area man has been arrested on burglary and theft charges following an investigation into a complaint made on February 16th.  On that date, the Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Baxter CR 213 in the Jordan area on a burglary complaint.  The homeowner reported that on February 15th around 5:30 PM a neighbor, Mr. Seth Tilley, knocked on his door.  Seth Tilley was asking to use the phone to get a ride, and he was let inside by the home owner.  Tilley made a call, but had to leave a message for a relative to call him back.  It was agreed that Tilley could wait inside for the call back.  The home owner went to sleep with Tilley still waiting inside for his ride.  When the home owner awoke several hours later, he discovered that some of his belongings had been stolen, including some that were locked inside a secured room of the house that had been broken into.  Items missing were $300 in cash and five different types of prescription medication.  When investigating the scene, responding deputies found a marijuana pipe on a table in the house, which the home owner said belonged to Seth Tilley.

Investigators attempted to locate Seth Tilley at that time, but he could not then be found.  A warrant for his arrest was procured, and Seth Michael Tilley was arrested yesterday, March 8th, in the Jordan area.  He was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:

Residential Burglary - Felony
Theft of Property - Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Misdemeanor
Failure to Appear in Court (2 outstanding misdemeanor warrants).

Seth Tilley is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond and will appear before the Circuit Court to answer on March 11th.
