SUSPECT ARRESTED INSIDE A BURGLARIZED HOME

     The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 35 year old SARAH JO STETKA of Calico Rock, Arkansas on burglary and other charges after responding to a residence on Baxter CR 214 near Norfork on Thursday afternoon, March 7th.

     The owner of the residence reported he had returned home and found a window of his home broken.  Once inside, he found a female passed out in a chair in the living room wearing only a bra.  Upon the arrival of officers, the female was taken into custody and was identified as SARAH JO STETKA.  The home had been ransacked.  Groceries from the cabinets and refrigerator had been placed in plastic bags to be carried out.  The backdoor had also been barricaded, and the dogs had been put out on the back porch.  SARAH STETKA was confused, disoriented, and appeared to be under the influence of some substance. 

     SARAH STATEKA was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and was booked into the Detention Center on charges of:

Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Misdemeanor
Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree – Misdemeanor

     She is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond and will appear in the Circuit Court to answer on March 21st.  The Norfork Police Department assisted with the arrest.
