     The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a newly convicted sex offender has registered with the Sheriff’s Office. 

NAME:                       JONATHAN MICHAEL YBARRA

DATE OF BIRTH:   06/24/1992

HOME ADDRESS:  1872 Hwy 178, Apt #2

                                    Midway, Arkansas 72651      

     The offender was convicted in Baxter County on May 19, 2017 of the offenses of Sexual Indecency with a Child and Indecent Exposure.  These crimes involved the offender exposing himself in a lewd manner to an 11 year old female inside a retail establishment in Mountain Home in January, 2016.

     (This offender has not yet been assigned a Risk Level by SOCNA (Sex Offender Community Notification Assessment).

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
