CODY LEE WILSON ARRESTED ON FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER

Cody Lee Wilson, age 20 of Mountain Home was arrested today on charges of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. On September 26, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office received a tip of a suspect who was living in the Kingwood Mobile Home Park who was a sex offender but had not registered. Sheriff’s Investigators confirmed that Wilson had been living in the mobile home for more than a month.

Cody Lee Wilson was convicted in July of 2007 for 2nd Degree Sexual Assault in Crawford County, Arkansas. Wilson, who was 16, was convicted for performing oral sex on a 6 year old male. He was court ordered to register as a sex offender in April 2011. Cody Lee Wilson was assessed as ‘High Risk’ to reoffend by the Juvenile Assessment Committee.

Cody Wilson is living at 4712 Highway 5 South, #301 (Kingwood Mobile Home Park)

Wilson is charged with:

Failure to Register as Sex Offender - Class C Felony

Wilson was booked in the Baxter County Detention Center on bond of $15,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 6, 2011.
