24 Year Old Man Arrested After Visit by Probation Officers

Man on Probation Arrested For Drugs

     March 11, 2011, at approximately 5:15 pm, Baxter County Deputy, David Alkire responded to a call for assistance by Probation and Parole Officers at a residence in the Twin Oaks Trailer Park on Highway 5, just South of Mountain Home.

     Upon entry of the residence, Officers found two adults and an infant approximately four (4) months old. There was a strong odor of marijuana throughout the residence. During the initial investigation, Officers found prescription medication, Xanax , marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The male subject, 24 year old Jason Biddle, was placed under arrest and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center without incident.

     A 31 year old female was breast feeding the infant when officers entered the residence. The woman told the Officers she regularly breast fed the child and she admitted to Officers of marijuana use. Officers attempted to contact DHS and ultimately the infant was placed in custody with the Grandmother. The investigation into this incident is continuing with charges possible on the female.

Jason Michael Biddle is charged with:

Possession of a Controlled Substance, XANAX                    Class D Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance, MARIJUANA           Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of an Instrument of Crime                                    Class A Misdemeanor

     Jason Biddle is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on Bond of $10,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on March 17.
