MAN OUT ON BAIL AWAITING TRIAL IS ARRESTED AGAIN

11/09/2010

For the fourth time in the past month, a rural Mountain Home man has been arrested on charges stemming from a domestic violence situation.  This afternoon at approximately 1:45 PM, the Sheriff's Office received a report that Shunn Dewayne Stephens was outside a residence on Wind Dancer Road where he had been prohibited from going after being served with a No Contact Order on October 12th.

Sheriff's Deputies had originally arrested Mr. Stephens on October 12th on a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery in the Third Degree.  He was released on bond, then arrested a second time on October 13th for misdemeanor charges of Violation of a No Contact Order and Theft of Property.  He was again released on bond.  Stephens was arrested a third time on October 26th for Violation of an Order of Protection and Criminal Trespass involving the same original situation.  For the third time, he was released on bond, with a trial on all those charges set for December 9th in Baxter County District Court.

This afternoon, Shunn Dewayne Stephens, 21 years old of rural Mountain Home, was arrested and charged once again, this time with two (2) additional counts of Violating a No Contact Order based upon what occurred this afternoon.  He is currently being held without bond in the Detention Center pending another appearance before the District Court.
