REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER MOVES OUTSIDE MOUNTAIN HOME CITY LIMITS INTO THE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a sex offender previously registered with the Mountain Home Police Department has moved out of the city and is now residing in rural Baxter County. This offender has been assessed as a Risk Level 2 offender (moderate risk to re-offend).

The offender was convicted in Kane County, Illinois on 12/05/1994 of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse and was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. The offender was convicted in Georgetown, Texas on 08/16/1999 for Failure to Register. The offender was then convicted in Burnet County, Texas on 05/30/2003 for Sexual Assault of a Child and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment. He was again arrested in Kane County, Illinois on 10/30/2009 for Failure to Register. There is no disposition shown on that charge. Available documentation does not provide any further details of these charges.
