DRUG ARREST MADE DURING PROBATION HOME VISIT

     Authorities arrested 53 year old LEEANN MICHELLE KENNISTON of Gassville Thursday afternoon, August 14th, at her residence on Sagewood Court on drug charges after a probation home visit was conducted.  KENNISTON is on probation with a search waiver on file.  The home visit was initiated after a tip was received indicating that she was selling methamphetamine from the residence.

     During the search, officers found approximately 2.3 grams of methamphetamine in her bedroom and approximately .10 grams of an off-white powder substance that tested positive for both fentynal and methamphetamine.  Multiple glass smoking devices were also found and seized.  Officers noted that KENNISTON was already out on bond on similar charges from an arrest made on April 29, 2020.

     LEEANN M. KENNISTON was arrested and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center and booked on charges of:

Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) with Purpose to Deliver - Felony
Possession of Schedule I or II Controlled Substance  with Purpose to Deliver - Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) - Felonies
Revocation Bench Warrant - Felony

     KENNISTON has a $15,000 bond on the drug charges but is being held on no bond on the revocation warrant.  She will appear before the Circuit Court to answer later this month.

     Agencies participating in the search and arrest were the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Gassville Police Department, and the Mountain Home Police Department.
