Danny Charles Carriker

     The Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a previously registered by unassessed sex offender has now received a community assessment notification risk level from SOCNA.  Danny Charles Carriker has now been assessed as Level 3 (high risk to re-offend).

DATE OF BIRTH:   04/11/1949

HOME ADDRESS:  394 Riverview Drive

                                    Norfork, Arkansas 72658      

     The offender was convicted of child molestation on 05/17/1985.  The official version of the offense is not available, however Carriker reported that he had engaged in sexual contact with a then 14-year-old female he had known for over a 6 month period of time.

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notification.
