ANOTHER SMALL AIRPLANE CRASHES AT GASTON'S LANDING STRIP

      Another small aircraft crashed at the Gaston’s Landing Strip Wednesday evening, July 11th.  The Sheriff’s Office was notified of the crash at approximately 8:36 PM, with injuries being reported.

     Sheriff’s deputies and emergency medical personnel responded.  The aircraft was found to be off the end of the airstrip in the tree line.  The aircraft was a fixed wing single-engine Cessna 150H.  The owner and pilot of the aircraft was identified as 38 year old JEREMY WAYNE SAUL of Russellville, Arkansas.  There were no other occupants aboard.  It is believed that SAUL was attempting to take off from the airstrip. 

     JEREMY SAUL was transported by air ambulance to a medical facility in Springfield, Missouri.  The accident is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration.  No other information is available at present.
