      The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a new sex offender has registered with the Sheriff’s Office. 

NAME:                       RICHARD PULLEN

DATE OF BIRTH:   09/02/1976

HOME ADDRESS:  23 Forrest Park Rd.

                                    Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653     

     According to documentation available, the offender was arrested in 1996 for two (2) counts of sexual assault on a child and for four (4) counts of indecency with a child involving sexual contact in Somervell County, Texas and was subsequently convicted of those charges.  Available documentation does not provide specific details of the crimes.  The offender was also arrested in 2014 for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, again in Somervell County, Texas.

     (This offender has not yet been assigned a Risk Level by SOCNA (Sex Offender Community Notification Assessment).

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
