A parolee, 32 year old JOSHUA JAMES LANGSTON of rural Mountain Home, was arrested on April 18th when officers from the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections and Sheriff’s Investigators conducted a probation/parole compliance home check at a house on Clements Drive.

Officers transported JOSHUA LANGSTON to the Baxter County Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:

Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) with Purpose to Deliver – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) – Felonies
Habitual Offender – Penalty Enhancement
Parole Violation – Felony

LANGSTON remains in jail custody with a bond of $10,000 on the new charges but without bond on the parole violation.  He was scheduled to appear yesterday in Baxter County Circuit Court to answer.
