Jason Brannon |
The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a Level 2 (moderate risk to re-offend with community notification justified) Sex Offender is now living again in Baxter County and has registered again with the Sheriff’s Office. He was just released from the Izard County Jail.
NAME: JASON BRANNON
DATE OF BIRTH: 12/12/1981
ADDRESS: Homeless (required to report in person one time per week)
The offender was convicted most recently of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree on 03/16/1999. This offense involved the offender forcefully grabbing and restraining a 14 year old female while touching her inappropriately.
This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public. This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders. Citizen abuse will not be tolerated. Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
