     The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a new sex offender has registered with the Sheriff’s Office. 

NAME:                       BRYCE AUSTIN CRUSE

DATE OF BIRTH:   08/03/1995

HOME ADDRESS:  709 Elm Street

                                    Gassville, Arkansas 72635     

     The offender was convicted on 01/12/2017 while in the military of the offenses of Attempted Sexual Abuse of a Child and Wrongfully Soliciting a NCIS Investigator to Produce and Distribute Child Pornography.  Both offenses are violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).  Documentation indicates these offenses involved the offender exposing himself and communicating indecent language to a person believed to be a minor.

     (This offender has not yet been assigned a Risk Level by SOCNA (Sex Offender Community Notification Assessment).

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
