ARREST MADE IN RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY CASE

     A rural Mountain Home man, 18 year old AUSTIN SCOTT DENSTEDT, has been arrested on burglary and theft charges following an investigation into a residential break-in reported to the Sheriff’s Office on May 24th.

     The front door of the victim’s residence at 69 Greenfield Rd had been kicked in and entry made into the residence.  Two safes were missing.  One safe contained prescription narcotics and the other contained firearms and ammunition.  The loss was valued at approximately $2,040.00.

     A suspect, AUSTIN DENSTEDT, was developed.  He later admitted to investigators his involvement in the crime and indicated others were present with him. 

     AUSTIN DENSTEDT was booked into the Detention Center on charges of:

Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Felony

     He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond with an appearance in Circuit Court set for June 23rd.  Additional arrests are anticipated in this case.
