PAROLEE ARRESTED ON NEW DRUG CHARGES

     The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 29 year old JASON MICHAEL BIDDLE of rural Mountain Home on felony drug charges after officers made covert efforts via cell phone to purchase methamphetamine from him Thursday afternoon.  Officers had obtained information that BIDDLE was in possession of meth.

     Officers arranged surreptitiously to meet BIDDLE at the Ozark Regional Airport in Midway. When officers arrived, they found BIDDLE waiting there. As officers approached him, BIDDLE made an attempt to flee but was quickly apprehended.

   In BIDDLE’s possession officers found approximately 2 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and US currency believed to be connected with drug transactions. All of this, as well as BIDDLE’s vehicle, was seized and taken into evidence.

     JASON BIDDLE was transported to the Detention Center and booked on charges of:

Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Delivery – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Unlawful Use of Communications Device – Felony

     He is being held in lieu of $20,000 bond on these charges with a court date of September 3rd , and he is also being held without bond for a Parole Violation.

     Agencies involved in the operation were the Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police Department, 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Arkansas State Police.
