A rural Mountain Home man, 40 year old CHRISTOPHER LEE WEST, was arrested on felony charges late Sunday evening, August 2nd, after deputies responded to a disturbance call on Wilderness Point Rd.

A call was received from the residence at approximately 9:44 PM indicating a man was inside the house firing a gun with other people inside. The 911 operator could hear gunshots in the background.

A female victim inside the residence told deputies that her husband, WEST, had started firing a handgun inside the house and pointed it at her. There were also three children inside the residence at the time.

Deputies located the handgun outside in a chair and took it into evidence. Several casings were scattered throughout the house, and holes were observed in the wall that are believed to have been made from rounds fired from the handgun.
