CLEBURNE COUNTY WOMAN ARRESTED ON BURGLARY WARRANT

The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 37 year old MANDY LEE BUTKOVICH of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas (Cleburne County) after she turned herself in at the Detention Center on September 30th at 3:00 PM on an outstanding felony bench warrant.
Sheriff’s Investigators had obtained the bench warrant on May 16, 2014 following an investigation into a burglary that was reported at 85 Plane Tree Ln. on April 21st. The victim told investigators that he had allowed a friend to use this vacation home on April 7th. When the victim returned to the residence on April 21st, he found the home had been burglarized and numerous items stolen. The items stolen included a phone, clothing, tackle box, binoculars, and alcohol. These items were collectively valued at approximately $735.00.
The victim had become aware that his friend’s ex-wife, MANDY LEE BUTKOVICH, had also been at the residence on April 7th. Investigators found that MANDY BUTKOVICH had pawned several of the stolen items at a pawn shop in Heber Springs. Based upon these facts, investigators obtained the bench warrant for the arrest of BUTKOVICH, which has been outstanding since May 16th.
MANDY LEE BUTKOVICH was released from custody after posting bond in the amount of $15,000 on charges of:
Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Felony
She will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court to answer on October 2nd. She also posted $821.00 bond on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from another jurisdiction.
