Cotter School District Head Start Students got a visit Friday from Sheriff John Montgomery. Sheriff Montgomery read “The Biggest Snowman Every” a story about accomplishing anything you put your mind to. About 15 Head Start Students enjoyed the story and the chance to spend some time with the Sheriff.
Mountain Home Elks Lodge 1714 made a generous donation to the Cotter High School SADD chapter. Cotter SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) hosts the “After Prom Lock In”. This donation will help provide more for the graduating High School Students that participate.

Sheriff John Montgomery along with all Deputies and Jailers, started the New Year with the swearing in ceremony. All employees’ present that were required to take the oath raised their right hand as Circuit Court Judge Shawn Womack administered the oath of office.
