08/23/2012

Brenden Taylor Johnson

A 21 year old rural Mountain Home man, BRENDEN TAYLOR JOHNSON, was arrested today on three (3) counts of Residential Burglary and Criminal Mischief charges.  JOHNSON was found inside a home on Christensen Road by the homeowner at approximately 10:15 this morning.  JOHNSON was found inside the bedroom of the homeowner’s daughter and was wearing the young lady’s spandex shorts.  The homeowner also reported that women’s underwear and swim suits had been removed from dresser drawers and were lying around the rooms.

BRENDEN TAYLOR JOHNSON was recognized by the homeowner and ordered to leave the house.  The homeowner then called law enforcement to report what had happened, and an investigation was initiated.

JOHNSON was picked up at his residence by Sheriff’s Investigator Lieutenant Terry Johnson and Sergeant Brad Hurst.  JOHNSON was brought to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning.  During the interview process, JOHNSON admitted to investigators that he had entered into the same home on three separate occasions this week for about 30 minutes each time, trying on women’s clothing.

BRENDEN JOHNSON was incarcerated in the Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bond.  Conditions of his bond are:

  • ·         No contact with the homeowner or any members of the family
  • ·         Must wear ankle monitor at all times
  • ·         Prohibited from going to any school, park, or sporting event.

JOHNSON will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on September 6th to answer the charges.
