WARRANT SERVED ON GASSVILLE MAN FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

07/19/2012

Justin Timothy Massey

A Gassville man has been arrested on two felony charges involving an incident between him and his father.  34 year old JUSTIN TIMOTHY MASSEY of Gassville was served with a Circuit Court bench warrant Wednesday afternoon and taken to the Detention Center.

The warrant was issued after Sheriff’s Investigators followed-up on a complaint from MASSEY’S father indicating that he was threatened with violence on July 9th and was involved in a vehicular assault on the roadway.  The investigation indicated that JUSTIN MASSEY raced up behind his father in a separate vehicle on U. S. Highway 62 West.  JUSTIN MASSEY allegedly was driving very aggressively and was trying to force his father off the roadway and intentionally ram him.  The incident continued to State Highway 126, where JUSTIN MASSEY allegedly blocked off the roadway and attempted to make entry into his father’s vehicle.  There was a witness to the incident.

JUSTIN TIMOTHY MASSEY was incarcerated on charges of:

Aggravated Assault – Class D Felony
Terroristic Threatening – Class D Felony

He was released from detention the same day after posting bond in the amount of $25,000 and will appear in Circuit Court on July 26th.
