Jonesboro Man Arrested in Stolen Motor Home

Scott Alan Tyner

June 13 at approximately 12:25 pm, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Dispatch received information that a stolen motor home was possible en-route to a campsite in Baxter County.  At approximately 6:15, Deputy Julie Tilley located the motor home at the Cranfield Park, east of Mountain Home.  After further investigation by Deputy Tilley and Sheriff’s Investigator Sergeant Brad Hurst, it was determined the motor home had been stolen from Jonesboro, Arkansas.  38-year old Scott Alan Tyner was located inside and was taken into custody without incident.  Tyner was also wanted for a parole violation and warrants out of Jonesboro Police. When interviewed, Tyner admitted to taking the motor home from a sales lot in Jonesboro.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Sheriff John Montgomery
