REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER NOW HAS ASSESSMENT LEVEL

05/04/2012

Jared James Householder

The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a previously registered but un-assessed sex offender has now been assessed and assigned a risk level by the State of Arkansas.  The Sheriff’s Office has been informed that this offender has been designated as Risk Level 2 (moderate risk to re-offend with community notification justified).

NAME:                       JARED JAMES HOUSEHOLDER
                                    a/k/a Jered Householder; Jaren Householder

DATE OF BIRTH:   11/11/1985

HOME ADDRESS:  261 Thorn Tree Lane
                                    Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653

The offender was convicted of Carnal Knowledge on 10/08/2004.  This offense involved the then 19-year-old offender forcing a 13-year-old female acquaintance to engage in sex.  During the SOSRA interview, the offender admitted engaging in sex with a 13 to 14 year old female friend of his sister when he was 18.  Community notification is justified due to the young age of the victim at the time the offense occurred.

This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
