A Lakeview man has been arrested on child pornography charges following evidence seized and evaluated during the service of a search warrant at his residence at 168 Marigold Lane in Lakeview on March 12th.
The Sheriff’s Office was notified on March 12th by the Arkansas State Police that they were preparing to execute a search warrant at that residence, based upon information they received of suspected child pornography internet activity at the residence. Sheriff’s Investigator Brad Lewis and an Investigator with the Mountain Home Police Department accompanied the State Police agents to the residence and helped with the search.
During the search, authorities seized both desk top and lap top computers. The content of these were examined and found to contain child pornography, including specifically digital images of pubescent and prepubescent females.
Authorities obtained a bench warrant from the Circuit Court on March 28th, and it was served today on 45 year old TROY ROWLETTE. He was booked into the Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond on a charge of:
Distributing, Possessing, or Viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child – Class C Felony.
TROY ROWLETTE will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on April 12th.
