NEWLY REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER LIVING ON SYCAMORE SPRINGS ROAD

     The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a rural Mountain Home man has Registered as a Sex Offender at the Sheriff’s Office and is now residing in Baxter County.   

NAME:                       ERIC LYNN SOEKEN   

DATE OF BIRTH:   04/04/1971

HOME ADDRESS:  4025 Sycamore Springs Road
                                    Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653 

     The offender was convicted in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2005 of Enticement of a Child.  His victim was a 14 year old female not known to him.  The offender was sentenced to complete 100 hours of community service and was ordered not to have any contact with children under the age of 18 years.  The offender was also convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child in Weld County, Colorado in 2006.  His victims were females known to him who were ages 3 and 5.  The offender was sentenced to the Department of Corrections in Colorado in January, 2007 and was released from prison in July, 2011. 

     This offender has not yet been assigned a Risk Level by SOSRA (Sex Offender Screening and Risk Management).

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
