SEVERAL UNLOCKED VEHICLES GONE THROUGH ON CR 424

02/09/2012

The Sheriff’s Office has taken reports that vehicles were entered into at three residences North of Mountain Home on Baxter CR 424 sometime between 11:00 PM on February 7th and 6:00 AM on February 8th.  In all three instances, the vehicles had been left unlocked.

At 125 CR 424, two separate vehicles were entered and rummaged through.  Items missing were a ladies coat and two boxes of handgun ammunition.

At 265 CR 424, a vehicle was rummaged through and a box of rifle ammunition, some DVDs, and a set of keys were taken.

At 171 CR 424, yet another unlocked vehicle was gone through, but the owner did not believe anything was missing.

There are currently no suspects in these incidents.

The Sheriff’s Office again wants to remind people not to volunteer to be a victim and keep all of their doors locked on their vehicles and homes.
