TWO JUVENILES CHARGED WITH BREAKING INTO THE FROST-EEZ CONVENIENCE STORE

01/30/2012

Two female juveniles, one 17 years old and the other 16 years old, have been taken into custody for breaking into the Frost-Eez convenience store at 859 Cannie Baker Road on January 29th.  The 911 call center received a report at 12:10 AM from someone residing in that area that they observed a vehicle pull up at the store, then drive away.  A short time later, the caller saw flashlights inside the building and made the call to 911.  Frost-Eez has been out of business for some time.

Sheriff’s Sergeant Kevin Boucher and Deputy Scott Thrasher responded.  Two female juveniles were apprehended at the scene.  One of them was still inside the building.  Deputies determined entrance had been made through a sliding window on the East side of the building.  Deputies do not believe anything had been taken from the building.

After investigating further, the two female juveniles were taken into custody, each on a felony charge of Commercial Burglary.  They were later released to Baxter County Juvenile Services.  Officer from the Mountain Home Police Department also responded to the initial complaint call.
