         James Lee Vinson                            Jennifer Keiser

On Saturday, September 10, 2011 at approximately 12:00 noon, Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Munson arrested two Dora, Missouri residents for having a stolen Jet Ski and Trailer in their possession at the Bidwell Point Campground on Lake Norfork.

Deputy Munson was notified of the situation by U. S. Army Corp of Engineers Park Rangers, who had established contact with two persons at the Bidwell Point launch ramp. These persons were identified as James Lee Vinson and Jennifer Marie Keiser. These persons initially told deputies and other officers that they had purchased the 1993 Yamaha Jet Ski and trailer from a person in Minnesota. The investigation determined that the Jet Ski and trailer, valued collectively at slightly less than $1,000, had been reported stolen to the Shakopee, Minnesota Police Department. The owner of these items was contacted and stated he did not know either Vinson or Keiser.

James Lee Vinson, 47 years old of Dora, Missouri and Jennifer Marie Keiser, 23 years old of Dora, Missouri, were both arrested on misdemeanor charges of Theft by Receiving and later taken to the Detention Center. Both are set to appear in Baxter County District Court on September 29th after being released from custody on $500 bond each.

A Wildlife Officer with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission also assisted with the investigation.
