DRUG DISTRIBUTION CHARGES FILED AGAINST GAMALIEL WOMAN

     A joint criminal investigation initiated by the Mountain Home Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a Gamaliel area woman on numerous drug offenses.  During a three month investigation, several controlled buys of marijuana and prescription pills were made from the suspect. 

     Investigators relied on their activities to obtain a warrant to search the residence and property of the suspect in Gamaliel.  Officers from the Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police, and Arkansas State Police served the search warrant on January 5th.  Contraband found inside the residence included several ounces of marijuana, scales, smoking devices, and other drug paraphernalia. 

     The suspect, Robin Causey Payne, 41 years of age, was arrested and charged with:

Delivery of Controlled Substance – Marijuana – Felony

Delivery of Controlled Substance – Dihydrocodeine, Felony

Possession of Contrlled Subst. with Intent to Deliver – Marijuana – Felony

Possession with Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia to Distribute Marijuana – Felony

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony

     Robin Payne was incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.  She is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on January 20th.
