 Mountain Home Man Charged With Residential Burglary After Foot Pursuit

     On December 21, 2010, at approximately 3:15 pm, Baxter County Deputies responded to a 911 call of a suspicious man that was pushing a 4-Wheeler near Sean's Restaurant on Highway 5 South of Mountain Home.

     Deputy Kris Savino arrived and when he approached, the suspect fled on foot. Deputy Savino pursued the suspect on foot for about 100 yards and apprehended him without further incident. The subsequent investigation revealed the suspect, Timothy Clark, had broken into a home in the area taking a wallet and money. Clark then attempted to start the 4-Wheeler at the residence. When Clark couldn't start it, he began pushing it from the residence and across the highway.

Timothy Allen Clark, age 20 of Mountain Home, was arrested and charged with:

Residential Burglary                                                                  Class B Felony
Theft of Property (2 Counts)                                                    Class C Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Hydrocodone     Class A Misdemeanor
Fleeing                                                                                          Class A Misdemeanor
Public Intoxication                                                                     Class C Misdemeanor

     Clark was booked in the Baxter County Detention Center on Bond of $50,000 pending his arraignment in Baxter County Circuit Court on January 6, 2011.
