DEPUTIES RESPOND TO DISTURBANCE CALL; ARREST 12 ON ALCOHOL RELATED CHARGES

     The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office arrested twelve (12) persons this past weekend for alcohol-related offenses after deputies responded to a disturbance call and found a party with underage persons consuming alcohol.

     On Sunday, November 28th at approximately 1:32 in the morning, Deputy Charles Bost responded to a disturbance call at an address on Deer Park Loop, which is South of Mountain Home.  Deputy Bost and Deputy Tracy Munson observed about ten vehicles parked in the yard and street in front of the house and saw several people going into the house.  The deputies approached the residence and observed several persons who they believed to be minors to be consuming or in the presence of a large quantity of alcoholic beverages.  The investigation found that several persons were in fact minors and had in fact consumed some of the alcohol that was present, and that the alcohol had been furnished by three adults who were present.  A total of fifteen (15) persons were transported to the Baxter County Detention Center.  At the conclusion of the investigation, charges were filed as follows:

     Richard Huffins, 23 years old of rural Mountain Home; and
     Alan Dover, 21 years old of rural Mountain Home; and
     Kaila Sandoval, 21 years old of Mountain Home,

    were each charged with Knowingly Furnishing Alcohol to Minors – a Misdemeanor offense.  Each will appear in Baxter County District Court on December 16th.

     Chelsea Knight, 20 years old of Mountain Home; and
     Sabier Miller, 20 years old of rural Mountain Home; and
     Jaimee Branscum, 19 years old of Pineville; and
     Santana Belt, 18 years old of Clarkridge;  and
     Jordan Wolf, 20 years old of Mountain Home; and
     Alex Brandt, 20 years old of Mountain Home; and
     Saxton Hatman, 19 years old of Jacksonville; and
     Mason Conner, 19 years old of Mountain Home,

     were each charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol – a Misdemeanor offense.  Each will appear in Baxter County District Court on December 16th.

     In addition, a seventeen (17) year old female was taken into custody on a charge of Minor in Possession of Alcohol and turned over to Baxter County Juvenile Services. 

     Two other minors had not been consuming alcohol and were released without charges.
