LAKEVIEW MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

     A Lakeview man has been arrested on multiple charges stemming from two separate investigations, one by the Sheriff's Office and the other by the Lakeview Police Department.  Michael Mark Trampe turned himself in to authorities on November 8th after warrants for his arrest had been issued.

     The Sheriff's Office took a complaint on October 14th from a business at 5555 Highway 62 East stating that Michael Trampe had purchased a gold neck chain and ring for $315.00 and paid for the items with a personal check later found to have been issued on a closed account.  A warrant was obtained for a misdemeanor Theft of Property charge. 

     The Lakeview Police Department had also procured an arrest warrant on October 1st charging Michael Trampe with three felony offenses.  This occurred following their investigation into a residential burglary that occurred at 139 Dogwood Lane between August 27th and September 10th, as well as the subsequent use of a credit card stolen during the burglary.   The felony warrant was delivered to the Sheriff's Office to await service.

     Michael Mark Trampe, 21 years old of Lakeview, was charged with:

              1.  Residential Burglary - Felony
              2.  Theft of Property - Felony
              3.  Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card - Felony
              4.  Theft of Property - Misdemeanor.

     He was taken to the Detention Center and released after posting bail in the amount of $5,500.  He will appear in court on December 2nd.
