INVESTIGATORS SERVE SEARCH WARRANT - ARREST THREE ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES

     Based on information Sheriff’s Investigators obtained through the online reporting database for persons purchasing suspicious quantities of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, Investigators today obtained and served a search warrant on a residence at 2407 State Highway 5 South of Mountain Home.  The purpose of the search was to find evidence of methamphetamine production. 

 

     Three Mountain Home residents were at the house when the warrant was served.  Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office, 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Mountain Home Police Department located and seized several items consistent with the production of methamphetamine, including receipts showing purchases of pseudoephedrine, as well as useable methamphetamine itself.  These three persons were arrested and charged as follows:

 

                        Jorden M. Watts, 19 years old of Mountain Home, charged with:

 

                                    Manufacturing a Controlled Substance – Meth – Felony

                                    Manufacturing a Controlled Substance in the

                                       Presence of a Minor – Felony with enhanced penalties

 

     Jorden Watts was incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.  He will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on July 8th.

 

                        Kiana S. Hays, 21 years old of Mountain Home, charged with:

 

                                    Manufacturing a Controlled Substance – Meth – Felony

                                    Manufacturing a Controlled Substance in the

                                    Presence of a Minor – Felony with enhanced penalties

                                    Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth – Felony

 

     Kiana Hays was incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.  She will also appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on July 8th.

 

     In addition, a seventeen (17) year old juvenile was taken into custody and charged with:

                        Conspiracy to Manufacture Controlled Substance – Meth – Felony

 

     He was released into the custody of Baxter County Juvenile Services.
