     Law enforcement agencies in Baxter County provided assistance to the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections (ACC) on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 27th and January 28th, in a concentrated effort to locate and apprehend parole and felony probation violators believed to be in this county, as well as certain other persons with outstanding arrest warrants.

     A task force of officers from the ACC, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the Mountain Home Police Department, the Arkansas State Police, the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) K-9 tracking team assembled early Tuesday morning.  Teams were formed and given packets of information on the violators being sought.  The Sheriff’s Office helicopter was also deployed to provide observation and assistance.

     As officers went to multiple residences and locations in the county Tuesday and Wednesday, several parole and probation violators were located and taken into custody, as well as several people wanted on other outstanding warrants.  In addition, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found at some of the locations, which resulted in new charges against several.  Some persons arrested were not the object of the operation, but were arrested incidental to it.

     All of those arrested were transported to the Baxter County Detention Center and incarcerated on their respective charges.  Those arrested were:

HENRY NIELSEN, 27 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose of Delivery – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons – Felony
Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution – Felony

His bond is $25,000 on those charges, with an appearance in Circuit Court set for February 4th.

SABRINA N. WARD, 28 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution – Misdemeanor
Non-Payment of Fines (2 counts) – Misdemeanors

Her bond is $ $2,556.73, with an appearance in District Court set for February 11th.

SHEENA MARIE WAINSCOTT, 20 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Revocation Bench Warrant – Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose of Delivery – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) – Felonies
Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons – Felony
Non-Payment of Fines – Misdemeanor
Contempt of Court – Misdemeanor
Body Attachment – Civil

Her bond is $25,000 on the new felony charges, $2,555.00 on the misdemeanor charges, and there is a no bond hold on the probation revocation charge. She will appear in Circuit Court on February 4th.

TABITHA RENEE NORTHERN, 31 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Delivery of Methamphetamine – Felony
Unlawful Use of Communications Device – Felony
Distribution of Controlled Substance Near Certain Facilities – Felony
Failure to Appear in Court – Felony Bench Warrant

Her bond is $10,000 on the new felony charges, and there is a no bond hold on the failure to appear charge. She will appear in Circuit Court on February 4th. 

MICHAEL CODY EVERETT, 31 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Revocation Bench Warrant – Felony
Failure to Appear – Misdemeanor
Non-Payment of Fines – Misdemeanor

His bond is $1,233 on the misdemeanor charges, and there is a no bond hold on the probation revocation charge. He will appear in District Court on February 11th.

GERALD PHILLIP MORRIS, 35 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Parole Violation – Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose of Delivery – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor
Failure to Appear – Misdemeanor

He has a bond of $15,000 on the new felony charges, $400 on the misdemeanor charges, and there is a no bond hold on the parole violation charge. He will appear in Circuit Court on February 4th.

BEVERLY KAY NIELSEN, 59 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Possession of a Defaced Firearm – Felony
Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution – Felony

Her bond is $5,000, with an appearance in Circuit Court on February 4th.

KAROLINE ROSE SIROIS-HANSON, 22 years old of the Lone Rock area, charged with:

Revocation Bench Warrant – Felony

She is being held without bond with a court date in Circuit Court of February 4th.

LORETTA SUE RUSSELL, 48 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Contempt of Court – Misdemeanor
Non-Payment of Fines – Misdemeanor

Her bond is $2,980.01, with an appearance in District Court set for February 11th.

WILLIAM GARY MARONEY, 45 years old of rural Mountain Home, charged with:

Non-Payment of Fines – Misdemeanor

He has a bond of $855, and he will appear in District Court to answer on February 11th.

     Some of these people have already posted bond and been released from custody.  Others remain in custody pending a court appearance.

     Not all of the violators being sought in Baxter County were located.
