A rural Mountain Home man, 22 year old Charles James Tomlinson, was killed in a one vehicle traffic accident early Wednesday morning that is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office.

     The accident occurred on Cannie Baker Rd (Baxter CR 26) at the intersection of Windy Drive and was reported at approximately 1:31 AM this morning. Charles Tomlinson was driving a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood NW bound on Cannie Baker Road. As he began to negotiate a turn, he lost control. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a sign, a culvert, and finally a large tree.

     Emergency medical services were dispatched, but Charles Tomlinson was pronounced dead at the scene by the County Coroner. Mr. Tomlinson was the only occupant of the vehicle.  Deputy Jamie Binnion is the reporting officer.
