HENDERSON WOMAN ARRESTED ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES AND WARRANTS

     A Henderson woman, 19 year old KELSIE NICOLE BLISS, has been charged with several drug-related offenses after she was arrested early this morning on outstanding arrest warrants.

     Sheriff’s Deputy Rockie Morrell arrested KELSIE BLISS at approximately 2:27 AM on those warrants.  During a post arrest search of her purse, several items of contraband were found.  These included approximately 1.1 grams of methamphetamine, 2 morphine tablets, 27 carisoprodol tablets, 23 clonazepam tablets, 5 zolpidem tartrate tablets.  These were packaged in small plastic zipper style baggies that are commonly used to facility delivery and distribution.

    KELSIE NICOLE BLISS was incarcerated in the Detention Center on charges of:

Revocation – Bench Warrant – Felony
Failure to Appear Warrant – Misdemeanor
Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver – Felony
Possession of Schedule I or II Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Felony
Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Felony
Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Felony
Habitual Offender – Penalty Enhancement

     She is being held without bond on the Revocation Bench Warrant and in lieu of $20,000 bond on the new charges.  She will appear in Circuit Court to answer on June 25th.
