Two Baxter County residents were arrested yesterday, May 13th, on multiple felony charges after an investigator with the City of Mountain Home Police Department (MHPD) received information that a parole absconder, ELI MICHAEL WEEDMAN, could be found at an address on Baxter CR 903.

Sheriff’s Investigators, MHPD Investigators, and Agents with the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force went to the residence to search for WEEDMAN.  They made contact at the door with a female identified as KAYLA MARIE ALDERMAN.  She told officers that WEEDMAN was not at the residence.  After being told that officers could hear a male voice inside, ALDERMAN granted entrance to the residence, and officers then found WEEDMAN and took him into custody.  While inside the residence, officers observed drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view.

Investigators then obtained a search warrant for the residence.  During a subsequent search pursuant to the warrant, officers found approximately 21.4 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 6 ounces of marijuana, one morphine pill, and numerous articles of drug paraphernalia.  These included approximately 100 syringes, multiple pipes, spoons, scales, baggies, and other articles used to process and repackage both marijuana and methamphetamine.

The residence was located within 1000 feet of the Midway Baptist Church.
