DEPUTY ARRESTS FUGITIVE FROM MISSISSIPPI ON MURDER CHARGE

01/15/2015

Dennis Tyrell Miller

The Sheriff’s Office has arrested a fugitive from the State of Mississippi who was wanted on an outstanding felony bench warrant for Failure to Appear in Court on an original charge of Murder in the First Degree.

This morning, January 15th, at approximately 1:48 AM, Sheriff’s Deputy Rockie Morrell made a stop on a vehicle in Mountain Home with Mississippi license plates because of a broken out tail lamp.  The vehicle was occupied by two persons, including 38 year old DENNIS TYRELL MILLER.    An inquiry into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database indicated that DENNIS TYRELL MILLER was a fugitive from justice from Neshoba County, Mississippi, with an active bench warrant that was just issued on January 12, 2015.

DENNIS TYRELL MILLER is currently incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center without bond awaiting extradition back to the State of Mississippi to face his charges there.  The Mountain Home Police Department assisted with the stop and arrest.
