BURGLARY CHARGE FILED AGAINST BAXTER COUNTY MAN

     Sheriff’s Investigators have arrested a rural Mountain Home man on charges related to a burglary reported by Gaston’s Resort on May 16th.  29 year old ANDREWWOJACEK turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office this afternoon after investigators had developed grounds for his arrest.

     Gaston’s Resort reported one of their cabins had been broken into and several items stolen.  These included towels, a television, furniture, a lamp, and a coffee pot.  WOJACEK is a previous employer of Gaston’s and still retained a master key that he used in connection with his previous job there. 

     After stealing the items, WOJACEK told investigators he decided to get rid of them and tossed them into Lake Norfork from the Highway 62 Bridge at Henderson.  The value of the stolen items was less than $1,000.

     ANDREW WOJACEK was booked into the Detention Center on charges of:

Commercial Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Misdemeanor

     He will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on June 19th, and he is currently being held in custody in lieu of $10,000 bond.
