05/19/2014

Parhaam Ale Akhavi

A rural Mountain Home man who is on parole, 33 year old PARHAAM ALE AKHAVI, was arrested Friday, May 16th and taken to the Detention Center on felony charges after Sheriff’s Investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest.

The warrant was sought after it was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on May 10th by a neighbor of PARHAAM AKHAVI’s that MR. AKHAVI had entered into the neighbor’s residence on Baxter CR 27 at approximately 12:30 AM after removing a screen on a window and climbing inside.  AKHAVI is then said to have pried open a locked bedroom door and entered.  According to the victim, PARHAAM AKHAVI appeared to be under the influence of some kind of intoxicant and said he was looking for his girlfriend.  AKHAVI then ran out of the residence and left.  The victim checked his wallet a short time later and found that $60.00 in cash was missing.

A bench warrant was issued charging PARHAAM AKHAVI with:

Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Misdemeanor

Bond on those charges is $15,000, and there is a NO BOND hold for a Parole Violation as well.

PARHAAM AKHAVI will appear in the Baxter Circuit Court on June 19th to answer.
