Joint Press Release from Lakeview Police Department and Baxter County Sheriff’s Office

On Friday, December 27 at approximately 4 pm, Baxter County Investigators were called to assist Arkansas Probation and Parole and the Lakeview Police Department with two people were at the Parole Office in Mountain Home.  .

During the summer months of 2013, Lakeview Police took a report of stolen items from an elderly couple. Some of the items stolen were jewelry, guns, power tools and knives.  A suspect, who worked for the elderly couple, was developed over the next few months. Working with Probation and Parole Lakeview Police was waiting on the suspect, Jack Creameans, when he arrived for his scheduled parole visit.

Lakeview Officer David Hotchkiss identified a ring the female, Kimberly Creameans, wife of Jack Creameans, was wearing as one that was stolen from an elderly couple in Lakeview during the summer.  A subsequent search of Kimberly Creameans found a green leafy substance on her person that tested positive for marijuana. A search of Jack Creameans found a  approximately 1 gram of a white crystalline substance that field tested positive for meth was found along with a device used to simulate the male penis during urination in order to cheat a urine test.

A search was made of the vehicle they were driving, a 2010 Ford Mustang. Found in the vehicle were several syringes  that the defendant advised post Miranda that were used to inject methamphetamine, a set of digital scales that field tested positive for meth, a glass pipe that is believed to have been used for the consumption of meth. A knife was also located that was identified as one that had been stolen from the original theft.  A Traditions muzzle loading rifle was located in the trunk of the car. Both Kimberly and Jack Creameans are convicted felons and cannot possess a firearm.

Jack Allen Creameans, age 47 of Corning, Arkansas was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with:

Possession of Schedule I or II  controlled substance----Class D felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia --------Class D Felony

Theft of Property greater than $1000.00 ---- Class D Felony

Firearm possession by a Felon ----- Class B Felony


Jack Creameans is being held on bond of $50,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on January 2, 2014 at 9 am.

Kimberly Parrot Creameans, age 47 of Corning, Arkansas was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with:

Possession of Schedule VI controlled substance----Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia --------Class D Felony
Theft by receiving --------------- Class D Felony
Firearm possession by a Felon  ----- Class D Felony

Kimberly Creameans is being held on bond of $25,000 pending her appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court of January 2, 2014 at 9 am.

The 2010 Ford Mustang was seized and being held for possible forfeiture. The investigation is continuing with more charges possible.
