A rural Mountain Home man, 23 year old ALEC ROBERT JOHNSON, has been incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center on multiple charges related to the break-in of vehicles and theft of contents.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, December 17th, Sheriff’s Sergeant Ken Grayham took a complaint from a resident at 1255 CR 643 indicating that a vehicle had been entered into and a purse stolen. The purse contained credit cards, a social security card, and other documents. At approximately 2:00 AM the morning of December 18th, Sheriff’s Deputy Chuck Menschik responded to a complaint call from 277 CR 1077 indicating that ALEC ROBERT JOHNSON was trying to get inside the residence. Deputy Menschik was able to locate JOHNSON and detain him. JOHNSON was subsequently found to have controlled substance (Xanax) in his possession. JOHNSON was taken into custody on the drug charge and transported to the Detention Center.
