Two persons are currently being held in the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office in Caruthersville, Missouri in outstanding warrants from Baxter County, Arkansas for felony Theft of Property.

Kenneth Dale Grady, 38 years old of Hayti, Missouri, and Faith Hope Babcock, 38 years old of Caruthersville, Missouri were arrested this morning by Missouri authorities and are currently awaiting extradition to Baxter County.

The felony arrest warrants were issued after the Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation the theft of two personal watercraft and a trailer that was reported on July 20th as being stolen from the Jordan Marina on Lake Norfork.  The watercraft and trailer were valued collectively at approximately $20,000.

Suspects were developed by Sheriff's Sgt. Brad Hurst after speaking with the owner of the two craft and with personnel at the Jordan Marina.  Evidence indicated that the suspect purchased fuel for the watercraft on or about July 6th and used a credit card to pay for the fuel.  The credit card was in the name of Faith Babcock, who is a person known by the owner.  Investigators also developed information to indicate that Kenneth Grady was with Faith Babock when this occurred.

The two personal water craft and the trailer have been returned to the owner.  Once Grady and Babcock are extradited, they will have a bond of $15,000 each on their charges.
