June 20, 2013

At approximately 4:45 AM, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call in the City of Gassville of an unresponsive female at the Gassville Gardens Subdivision.  First Responders from Gassville Fire Department and Medical Personnel from Baxter Regional Medical Center arrived but were unable to detect any life signs.  The Baxter County Coroner’s Office responded and the victim, 47 year old Amanda Sue Wall of Gassville was pronounced deceased at the scene.

From information obtained at the scene and from witnesses, it appears that Ms. Wall was spending the night at a friend’s residence.  Witness statements indicate Ms. Wall went to bed around 11 pm and when he went into the bedroom around 4:45, the victim was unresponsive and he called 911.

Due to the age of the victim’s age the body is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause and manner of death.  No foul play is suspected at this time.
